"Franchise Main Dealers source their pre-owned vehicles from the same auctions we do
The difference is the Retail Price"
When we go to auction to source vehicles either for stock, or specifically for a client, we look for exactly the same things the main dealers do: Recent year, low mileage, end of finance vehicles from the manufacturers finance houses and the banks and always 'Grade One' condition, Auction House 'Assured' stock.
These represent the easiest to prepare for our customers and the lowest risk for us and them.
The difference is we seek to retail our fully prepared vehicles for £500 less than other independent dealers, they aim to sell £500-£1500 over an independent dealer. This is quite some markup for exactly the same vehicle, with all the similar warranty and finance support available.
Now we have gone one even better - In addition to our current stock and our Concierge Vehicle Sourcing Service, we offer two Auction Services:
Fact: We can buy a vehicle hundreds of pounds cheaper at auction than the public are able, as we have preferential Buyers Fees.
Fact: If you want a vehicle from auction, we can purchase it on your behalf with only a nominal £150 handling fee.
What you need to know
We publish a list of qualifying vehicles every day on our 'Straight from Auction' Page. These will be available to acquire the very next day or within the next week - so no delays.
We only select the very best vehicles based on the following criteria:
Grade One Condition - Only minor Smart Repairs needed if any to restore it to showroom condition
Under manufacturer's warranty - main franchise dealers will rectify faults under warranty free of charge
Service history where appropriate - some vehicles won't be old enough to have needed a service at the time of sale
V5 present - easy to tax and register the vehicle straight away
2 x keys - important as spare key replacement can cost several hundred of pounds
A condition report detailing any internal or external repairs needed
An AA Independent Mechanical Report - Clear of all faults. If any are detected within 48 hours or 500 miles, they will be resolved by The Auction House.
If you are interested in a vehicle from The List, contact us and we will send you the Condition Report, the AA Mechanical Report and 9 colour photographs of the vehicle along with the expected price you will pay plus delivery. This will include our fee, the auction buyers fee and any VAT.
If you want us to bid for you, we need cleared in our bank account the maximum amount you wish to pay for the vehicle, including delivery before we go to auction to acquire it.
If on the day of the auction we are either out bid, the reserve price was not met by your bid or we reject the vehicle for whatever reason, you will receive a full refund the same day.
Delivery will be arranged through the Auction House, unless otherwise agreed.
If you wish us to take care of any minor Smart Repairs, these can be arranged prior to delivery by own team.

The 'A' List is a service not dissimilar to 'Straight from Auction'.
We publish auction lists based on the same criteria, however we finish and present the vehicles as we would our own stock. You benefit from:
External & Internal finishing as required
Alloy wheel refurbishment
Up to date Main Dealer Servicing
Full tank of fuel
Free delivery within 50 miles
Extended warranties & breakdown cover
Finance (initial full capital payment required for all auction services)
All our 'A' List vehicles have at least £500 off retail prices, accurately provided both by Glasses (Glass’s Guide is the leading British motor trades guide to used car prices) and CAP (Industry standard pricing and vehicle services). Vehicles above £15,000 can expect £1000-£3000 plus off retail prices.
In short, the 'A' List is your way of getting main dealer select vehicles, with a substantial saving off prices you'd pay even at a local independent dealership.
